Diggy at Grandparents Day

Hi everyone, I am still in shock that he’s gone.

He has always been such an amazing man and has felt like a foundational support in my life that I just never pictured a world without him.

My moms dad died before I was born, and I only met my dads dad a handful of times before he passed away.

Diggy was definitely the closest thing I had to a grandpa, even if he wasn’t that much older than my parents.

He even came to support me on Grandparents day one year at Francis Parker elementary school.

And I’ll never forget that he went out of his way to show up for me.
